Since it can’t be disputed I’d like to congratulate my Chester Yellowjackets for the Class1-A state championship.  I know it will have an asterisk beside it, but I wanted to be the first to offer my applause for a job well done.  I know Evadale was up there too, but I wasn’t able to stay for the 2-A championship game.  If one of the Rebel faithful will let us know how it turned out I’d appreciate it.

They were defeated in district! Chester that is

It was a close battle but we won. They said we'd have to make the statue a little smaller than the other two though.
