Gasilla Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Amazing...a "below average team" beat an "average team" who "dominated their line on both sides of the ball." What are the odds? Alas, another ridiculous attempt to sound objective by bh89-2. Jody, how can you enjoy the game of football when you know so little about it? Stick to fishing. BHFAN and bh89-2 are now 2 for 2 in their annual tradition of "hate on WO-S" analysis. Congratulations, guys. You're batting 1.000 (that's a baseball term). It's called trying to make chicken salad out of chicken crap. Those two are experts at it.

AggiesAreWe Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Article on HJ/Diboll scrimmagehttp://www.lufkindailynews.com/sports/content/sports/stories/2007/08/19/diboll_scrimmage.htmlGary beat up on the younger brother quite a bit.Either Diboll is really, really good, or HJ is very bad. I'm thinking the latter. We'll find out about Diboll in the next scrimmage against Kirbyville.
HJ-Hawks25 Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I intercepted the quarterback in that game...that wasnt on there...haha.
Castor27 Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I intercepted the quarterback in that game...that wasnt on there...haha. It was a Lufkin article so I wouldn't expect them to put anything about H-J in it. As far as the scrimmage goes. H-J seemed to use it to find out what they had to work with. Burrell didn't touch the ball much, and they played a lot of guys to see who could/would perform. Diboll looked pretty good, and I can see them potentially going a couple of rounds in the playoffs. I don't think H-J is bad, but they are young. They'll have a lot of juniors and a few sophomores playing in key places this season. I don't expect them to surprise any of the top 4 in district, but they should be able to play with everyone else.

But like i said with a new offense and defense it may just take this year to get used to. Hopefully we can have it down and set by the first game and im pretty sure we will. i look forward to this season and have a good one.
