From a talent standpoint,  couple of players come to mind.

Green III - Ozen

Eckert - Lumberton

Yowman - West Brook

Elia  - West Brook

Singleton - PA Memorial

R. Johnson - PN-G

Thomas - Silsbee

Ambres - West Brook

The QB a few years back from West Hardin.

Quirante - Vidor

Dallas - WO-S

But if you're going on strictly passing, I was more impressed with Green or Yowman...

Would have to include Craig Stump right there with him.

And I am surprised that none of the Beaumont folks have mentioned this name........James Brown.

His name was the first to cross my mind I meant to put him up there..

Gary Hammond

Todd Dodge

Both From TJ

Gary Hammond was one of the best high school QB's in the state of Texas in '68.  He went on to SMU where he was all conference at 3 different position in 3 separate years.  Then he got drafted into the NFL and played for the St Louis Cardinals.

Dontre had the better year, but Jack had the better career. Jack's first year, he led the Mustangs to the championship game after going into the summer of that season as the slated starting quarterback..........of

Tyler Copeland? That's a interesting one. Tyler was a good player, but on a SETX all time list, not sure about that one.
