D-villefan Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Does anyone know how Deweyville did against West sabine and Mt. Enterprise ???
skipper Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 yep i agree the birds at bridge city are young BUT thay did look good in spots agnest a bigger LC-M team.the cards have alot of work in front of them but i do belive the coaching staff was pleased at what thay saw at this point.and will build on this and will get better as time goes bye. BC and WO-S are two teams that are very young going in to this season and both will take thire lumps this year BUT watch out down the road
Bobkat Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 They're not the only two young teams in this district...Orangefield is very young and will be playing several sophmores this year!

king Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Does anyone know how Deweyville did against West sabine and Mt. Enterprise ???I thought we did good, but we know we can do alot better!!! mt enterprise was a big 1a school they had good athletes.West sabine could not do anything on offense against deweyville.
purpleeagle Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Mt. Ent. is not a large 1A School. their enrollment is 129 compaired to Deweyvilles 237 and W.Sabines 170. Mt. Ent. is picked by Tx . F. Magazine fifth in their district and they were 2/8 and 0/5 last year. hummmmm

HORNSFAN86 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Final2 quartersCleveland 7 HF 6controlled scrimmageHF 2 Cleveland 0 I guess HF had a melt down in game simulation. Cleveland was not very good last year, how do they look this year? In years past they seemed to have decent size & speed.
KFDM COOP Posted August 24, 2007 Author Report Posted August 24, 2007 Giddings 21 Sealy 0 in 1 full quarter game scrimmage.

cubfan12 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Brenham @ Round Rock Westwood earlier todayScores by session7 on 7 (10 plays each)Brenham 1 TD, Westwood 015 Plays Each SessionBrenham 2 TD'S, Westwood 110 Plays Each SessionBrenham 1 TD, Westwood 0One 12 Minute Live Quarter Score: Brenham 10, Westwood 0Both teams got a lot of good work in today. Cub defense bent at times, but didn't break. Offense was clicking better than last week's first scrimmage. Only one week until the opener at Reliant against Nederland. Should be a great game to open the season.
KFDM COOP Posted August 25, 2007 Author Report Posted August 25, 2007 Nederland/Jasper will do 12 plays each 2nd string then one whole real half with starters.
NedDog Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 Thanks for the info Cubfan12. All of us in Nederland are looking forward to our game with you guys next week.
