Beau Hale To Retire?

Another injury to Beau Hale may be his last as a major league ballplayer.  Hale has returned to his home in Austin and is expected to retire. After a great career at Texas, Hale was chosen 14th overall in the 2000 draft. He had several bright spots in the minors but was pestered by several injuries, including a shoulder injury that kept him sidelined in 2003 and 2004.

That guy could bring it! Best of luck to him and his family. His Dad is our postmaster in Deweyville. He is a fine man.

It takes so much more than just pure talent. That guy had a ton of talent and just had bad luck with the injuries. He will find his way.

Beau was one the most dominating high school pitchers to come out of Southeast Texas...  Seen him pitch against Nederland and PNG a few times,….BB’s.  Wish him the best in his next career.
