Areas Best Kickers???

After watching several good kickers last year in 24-aa just wondering who has the better one this year.This an often overlooked position but has a huge impact on the game.Warren's record last year would have been 8-2 had they been able to kick the extra points.I hear Kountze has a good one again,who else???

Transfer kid from Norway booted a 50-yard FG for Kountze in the Lions' scrimmage against Colmesneil last week.

He's not from the area, but today in the Lufkin West Brook scrimmage their kicker almost hit the scoreboard on an extra point attempt.  The kid kicked it 7 yards deep into the endzone on every kickoff.

From what i have heard, Kelly's kicker Donnie Carona is looking to go D-1 after this year. My son tells me he is averaging 75 yds. a kick-off and has made up to a 60yd feild goal in practice... i am looking forward to watching him kick this season

I dont know about a 60 yard field goal. but i did see him on some kickers website and he can boot it! I heard he was goin to LSU.

It has him at many different competitions included the Nationals in which he placed first in San Antonio

see i hear jasper has a soccer player they got out their. but they said he has only been kicking a football for about one week. They say he is pretty good in practice but the other night he missed the extra point. im interested to see what he can do once he gets some more practice.

Vidor's quarterback Franklin is an excellent kicker and punter. I have watched him for years.

Donnie Carona is the best kicker in this area and is the number two kicker in the state of texas!! he is going to have his choice of  Rice, TCU, and Baylor!! he has kicked for 75 yards and he has made a 60 yard feild goal also!! if you want proof come to the Kelly vs. Kinkaid game this week at Kelly!! on friday at 7:30

Watching Donnie Carona kick this past weekend at Bridge City was unbeleivable... every kick-off was into and out of the end-zone and every extra point was straight through going over the scoreboard...i look forward to watch this kid in college... and keep it up Kelly Dawgs!

Donnie Corona is not only an amazing kicker but also an amazing punter. Last year he punted a 74 yard punt.

I was at the Vidor/Livingston game and the Lions kicker was hitting 50 yarders easy in warmups.  If pressure doesnt get to him, he could make a 60 yard fieldgoal.
