Texas head coach Mack Brown said on his talk show that sophomore CB Deon Beasley (left) has been doing a very good job in pass coverage and in run support, and he said he feels good about the Longhorns' chances of fielding two good defensive teams that can help keep everybody fresh. Brown said Beasley, who played some last year as a true freshman, was good on pass coverage last season, but has really improved his tackling this year. He's listed on the depth chart as a second team right CB and punt returner.  Earl Thomas is a true freshman at UT and is listed as a third team CB.  Recently in an interview with Giddings star and Texas pledge Brock Fitzhenry was asked to name the toughest team he's faced and the best player he's played against.  He responded WO-S and Thomas!!!!!!!

I talked to Deon at the WOS scrimmage last Saturday night and he was talking about how well Earl was doing. He said there was a good chance to see both of them on the corners next year.

Kind of funny, that Deon and Earl will be playing with a player from each of our nemesis the past two seasons. One from Wimberley and one from Giddings. You know they have to poke fun at each other at practice. As much as I hate to lose, atleast we have lost to some damb good teams! ;)

Those were two very good teams that beat WO-S.  Wimberly especially.
