Power runner?? I'd say either Gutierrez from Nederland or Hemmings from PN-G if we are talking about guys that are not afraid to run you over. Neither are the best backs in the district but DB's brace themselves when they see these guys coming.

there are alot of impressive backs in this whole area,i think that is why this is one of the toughest districts around.and i have to say the sophomore back from lumberton, anthony beard, looks really good so far.I'm anxious to see more of that guy this season.

Jake Hemmings. PNG

Yea he ran pretty hard Friday. Would be nice to put that tenacious energy on the other side of the ball. Seem to me he'd be a hellava LB. He is a hard runner.

theron renolds...from vidor...6'2...230....4.5...kid is a beast

Wow. Only a 4.5 huh? According to many on this board some teams have a pair of 4.4 guys in their backfield. LOL

theyre talking about that he is fast for his size, 6'2 230 and runs a 4.5? you cant tell me thats not impressive...

I was actually talking about some hyped up 40 times that I heard from many posters on this board a few weeks ago. A 4.5 RB is plenty fast no matter what size he is. If in fact the Vidor FB does run that then he will be tough to stop. But, it is funny to me how many tenths of a second get knocked off 40 times on message boards. And, yes I do believe you bcjag that Frog does run in the 4.3-4.4 range. I saw him last year and he is lightning quick. He was probably the second fastest kid I saw last year next to Jacquizz Rodgers from Lamar Consolidated.
