82 5A State Champs Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 i really think starting Louis at qb will correct take care of that. he seems to be a qb, david looks like a db coverted to a qbI would really have to agree with you......I think Louis will definitely make a better QB. Not that Falgout can't get the job done, I just think that after a few games Louis will get good enough to lead the team, and Falgout can concentrate on playing defense. It was a slow start in the first half, but it looks like this WB team will get better each week. This is the best looking WB defensive team that I think I've seen in about........25years! Thay have had some good defenses in the past, but their 82 State Championship team had a very fast and very strong defense that got better each week! Good luck next week Bruins! ;D
KG03bruins7 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 I went to the game good job Defense. Man falgout proved he can be leader that kid just likes to play. The score would have been alot worse if they would'nt have been called for holding 3 times, 3 int, 4 fumbles. WB is the type of team that keeps coming at you until the final whistle. louis is going to be WB's new boy wonder good arm great poise in the pocket. WB has talent every where on the field. The wr's are going to be a force to be recond with Powdrill #2 i seen this kid last year beast. Ozen good team they just have to want to win coach cant do it players have to play like its them against the world! GO BRUINS!!! My prediction for the score was on the money.
BearWolf Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Yes, Louis is a true QB with a cannon. Lets get him ready for district. I just do not believe that a kid can play both ways full time and be 100% effective at this level and in this league. Louis only pass last night was a 56 yard TD beauty hitting Powdrill in stride down the right sideline.
BearWolf Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 I will reserve futher comment on WB defense until i see them against Central who has more team speed than anyone in tha area. WB defensive front 7 needs to do it again next week.
KG03bruins7 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 I was thinkin the same thing about falgout. I think louis will start next week. This kid just comes in the game and throws for a td my jaw dropped.
KG03bruins7 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Yeah i hope the Def. can stay healthy. The way brook came out of locker room i dont see any off. havin thier way. Brook.
BearWolf Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Yes, Shane McCardell was not suited up last night. Hopefully he will be back this week. He's the third piece of the 6'-5" DE Tripletts (Malbrough, Chavis and McCardell). When he gets back I believe Chavis will go back to his LB spot. McCardell is a sprinter on the track team. When he returns WB Defense will get bigger and faster
82 5A State Champs Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Yeah i hope the Def. can stay healthy. The way brook came out of locker room i dont see any off. havin thier way. Brook.well, that might be true against a team like Central......the true test will be against Spring Westfield in two weeks. How WB handles a team like that will determine how far thay go this year!
BearWolf Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 I'm taking it one step at a time. lol
Guest WBFan09 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 i think Stump might play both QBs this season..all depending on how the line does and who the WRs are comfortable with...i also wouldnt be surprised if Stump used both guys to keep the other teams defense from getting a mental or physical break on the field....Albert did awesome last night because of is running style which is running right over people where as Christian didnt do anything special because the ground was wet and muddy so he had no grip for juking faking and acceleratingDefense really stuck it to the panthers i think our one weakness might be big plays but we look like the chicago bears, meaning we swarmed to the ball and showed no mercy i loved it

I think Louis should get the nod as the starter, not only because he seems to have a better arm, but it will also give him invaluable experience as a starter and help prepare him for next year......ya always gotta look ahead! Go BROOK!
