last week was a super win for the mustangs but this week it will not be so easy  agnest a very well coached team as lc-m has this year we all know this.wo-s also has alot to prove  some  people say thay were lucky agnest  dayton

Wait, so you're saying LCM is a better team than Dayton?  :D :D :D :D

Also, shutting a team down completely in the 2nd half means WOS got lucky?  ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Im hoping WOS runs up the score this year to shut LCM up...

caney creek was a quarter finalist last year, they had like 15 starters back, so even though LC-M lost to Caney Creek, that isnt a death sentence for LC-M

LC-M scheduled CC and WOS to prepare for a district run, instead of scheduling 3 pushover teams

WOS is a great team, well coached, lots of athletes, and i would hope they dont think they are going to come into LC-M's house and push them around

no matter who wins i think this year will be as exciting as it has been in a while

win or lose, i think LC-M will send a message friday night

good luck to both teams (of course with a little extra for the Bears)

Typical racist nonsense I would expect from a bigot of lcm.  I would not dare try to convince you that there are numerous people from WO-S who are successful in life after high school, because you are an ignorant bigot.  It would be hopeless.  I bet you wouldn't have the guts to say something like that to Salter or any of his family members.

Back to the subject of who wins, the WO-S by two TD's.

The original statement was very ignorant but Im not sure how it was racist....

All you people who aren't giving LCM a shot should have watched App. St. versus Mich. this week.  Many times Seniors with less god given ability can beat soph with much more.  I look for this to be our one edge this Friday (a ton of Seniors).  Obviously our kids god given abilities (athleticly) aren't what WOS starks are.  Our kids god given abilities probably are more suited to helping them be succesfull after highschool football is over.  Like in life in general.  But make no mistake after we win Friday night everyone will be on here saying it really wasn't that big of an upset, because we have so many seniors and WOS doesn't.

LCM 21 WOS 17

You are the exact reason why I have chosen for my children to attend WO-S and be a part of something special.  You are about "clueless".

This was very uncalled for. I graduated from LCM, but I guess every village has a _______!

It seems I have had a hard time defending myself because my posts continue to get deleted.  If you would just delete the sections that are offensive I will not write that again.  But my last two weren’t even close.  For starters I am a 52 year old African American father who has graduated 3 children from LCM.  All of whom have gone on to college.  We began our education in WOS and I felt it was unacceptable.  So please don’t name call when you know nothing about a person.  I didn’t call anyone out or name call anyone.  I apologize if what I said offended.  However, I do know what I am talking about and the State of Texas agrees.  Look up the High School rankings and see for yourself.  It does get tiresome for those of us north of I-10 when it seems like your second favorite past time (after football) is bashing LCM.  I have read it and heard it for years.  Here are the examples just from this one thread that were allowed to stay on the board while my posts simply stating a couple of obvious truths were deleted.  Double standard?  Probably.  Now, good luck to the boys from WOS.  I have watched most of them since they were small children and whish them nothing but the best.

It seems year in and year out you always have a few overly hyped LCM fans who think somehow theyve gotten better when in fact its the same ol bumblin bears of past years.

77's attitude is a shining example of what I DON'T like about (some) LCM folks.

i think bojo gonna get a bobo!

bojo schmojo...that is the MOST idiotic thing i have EVER seen

bears over come, join as one?!

i think the liquor store mascot outside of their administration building made that one up!

WOS thats who i want to win cause my opinon LCM Stinks

WOS doesn't think that they are a push over. They will come in prepared.

i'm simply saying that team slogans are best when they are not made up by a head coach, hoping to launch something.  the bears have made some strides in the past few years, but the coaching staff turn over rate is MUCH higher than usual.  that simply points to the head coach.  people can't say it is him weeding out coaches from the "old program" because most of the coaches that he brings in only last 1 year.  you can't build tradition with a slogan like bojo.  sorry pointing out the obvious offends, but it is simple logic...

Coaching moves happen for different reasons, some move so they can coach at the varsity level instead of sub varsity some because of the reasons you speak of and some for retirement but there was only one varsity coach that left this year and that was for a better teaching assignment elsewhere, I dont believe any left LCM last year.(varsity)

7 of her 16 posts bash either Moody or the BOJO "slogan".  ::)

    • Either way,one game lead in the series. I rely to much on word of mouth
    • West Orange Stark has been a powerhouse since I csn remember. At some point, your bound to fall off to some degree. Alabama has 3 or 4 loses this season. Who would have thought? Has Orange lost kids to LCM or even Orangefield?
    • Interesting matchup this Friday. Both teams have very good offensive and defensive lines, which will make this game interesting. Having watched Texas High all season, they have a wide open offense with very good skill players. If you look at their stats they run the ball 57% of the time and pass 43% of the time. Personally, that is a bit deceiving, as most of their games have seen reserves running the ball in the 4th quarter. I would estimate the primary offense is 50/50. Through 12 games they have run for 3,224 yds (48tds) and passed for 2,894 yds (32 yds). Potter, the Tiger QB, has been very efficient with a 69% completion rate and 1 interception (which came from a tipped pass). The passing is distributed primarily to 4 receivers…. Ball (865), Wrightner (811), Montgomery (532), & Pilgreen (392). The rushing comes from 3 running backs … Johnson (1,432), Ball (768) & Moore (716).  The Tiger defense is solid and very quick.    Hope #15 is healthy enough to play. He is a test for any defense. I was concerned about the Nederland RB, but felt Texas High did a good job containing him. I wish this game was in the afternoon, as Nachitoches is having their Festival of Lights and their will not be any rooms in the inns and restaurants will be full so plan accordingly. PNG are state champions until someone knocks them off, so I extend the Indians the respect they deserve. Pulling for the Tigers.
    • The baseball coach has a ton of experience at high school and college level and hasn’t done anything for I think around 7 years now,it’s just something that the higher ups live with. And there has been talent come through that he hasn’t done anything with!
    • If I had to point out one team that has impressed me the most; Barbers Hill
