NedDog Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Based on news I heard at the time of the surgery, his boot was supposed to come off today so that rehab can begin. I am no doctor, but I would expect at least a 4 week rehab period, probably longer.
24 over par Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 glad to here he is doing well best wishes to him
Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Dang that sucks I hope he gets better by the end of the year.
pngfan1 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Best of luck in recovery to him , he looked awesome in the Brenham game.IMO probably was the best QB at Nederland in a while.
Guest tigersvoice Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Mr. Sampere,It's hard to see what we are supposed to do sometimes. Obviously, you love football. And, you are very good at it. Then, BAM! An ankle broken in three places. Why me, you might ask. And I have no answer for that. I had a significant knee injury in my Sophomore year and it slowed me considerably. As a Freshman in college I injured the other knee and career over! I didn't understand it then and don't understand it now. But apparently God wanted me doing something else. If you can rehab sufficiently to come back this year, that will be great. But, Ryan, don't try to come back unhealthy. God bless you, Sir.
Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Hey yall keep Sampere in your prayers please everyone
Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Hey yall keep me inform on the condition of Sampere please I would really appreciate it.
jake94 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 The consensus from his relatives on bigned.com is that he will be out for the season.
Guest band of brothers Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 No matter who you are, or what school you represent, an injured player should be in everyones prayers, and the more posts I read, the more impressed I am to hear everyone's support for this young man, prayers from Lumberton.
Guest ndn09 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Hey I will keep him in my prayers and for all you fans pray for him so he can back on the field.
injuns Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 The consensus from his relatives on bigned.com is that he will be out for the season. Theres nothing on Ned's forum that indicates he is out for the season. He sure impressed me.Did he start rehab today?
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Umm, a post from his mother on the message board is pretty much all the indication that I need. Is that good enough for you?
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Theres nothing on Ned's forum that indicates he is out for the season. He sure impressed me.Did he start rehab today?I think he started rehab on Monday. I am not sure..
injuns Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I thought bigned.com was gone. I've been reading posts on http://www.mysetx.com/forums/nederland/ is there another site.
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 You are at the right place. I have just always gotten there thru bigned.com.. The post if you want to see it is entitled #73.. It was talking about another player's injury and how you cannot always believe what you hear.
injuns Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Sorry to hear that. I was hoping for the best. I hear he is a fine young man.
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Yes, it really is a shame. I think he would have been really special this season. But, I guess it just wasn't meant to be. On the bright side, how many QB's can say that their first and only start at QB was a 1-point win at RELIANT STADIUM! That is something that never can be taken from him.
injuns Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Yea, he was really on that night .I kept saying where did this guy come from? But Bellows will be a good one also.
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Bellow is going to be really good in my opinion. He is learning on the job and I suspect that next year he will be one of the top QB's in the area and in 2 years LOOK OUT! Sure he will make some mistakes this season, but to get this kind of experience and success as a sophomore is wonderful. He seems like a very humble kid as well.
Guest ndn09 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Man I will pray for him so that he gets better and he can get back on the field and start playing football.
