5A D2 Region 3 is wide open.

 

5A D1 Region 3 will be out of Manvel, Port Arthur Memorial, Richmond Foster, outside chance of Friendswood and whoever the best region 3 centex team is: in no particular order. If i had to bet money Manvel finds some way to get out the region unfortunately.

A good number of those kids will be 3 year starters. This would be their best chance for a title. Obviously going to be tough to beat Cooper, Ennis/Aledo, then the state finalist but who knows. This might be a special year for them.

Obviously its early in the season but I'd think A&M Consolidated and Texarkana are the front runners. Several others can close gap but those are the ones I am keeping an eye on the closest.

I choose FB Marshall.  Could be Marshall and or A&M Cons.  Damn sure ain't BH or PN-G unless the teams at the top get knocked off early or covid.....

I would say it is wide open.  My top 3 would be FB Marshall, A&M Consolidated and Huntsville in no particular order.  All 3 are replacing a ton of D1 talent but they all appear to be reloading.
