Guest Orangeboy Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 I had him in my minor league spot on my fantasy team, so no points for me.
rhino1877 Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 That was AWESOME!!!! Congrats to him!
MIF04 Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Unbelievable...saw only 3 pitchers since 1900 threw no-no in 1st or 2nd start. Congrats to Clay. Simply outstanding.
643 Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Saw the litltle clip on the Redsox site of the last pitch and will say it was a very 'DIRTY' hook to say the least, and would have been hard to hit with a tennis racket.
LoveoftheGame Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 First of all, congrats to Clay. Like he said last night, this is something you dream about as a kid. He was mixing his stuff very well and the 'hook' to Markakis in 9th was simply unhittable. But again, Congratulations Clay. Soak it up 'cause it doesn't happen much. I think I speak for everyone when I say we all hope to see more of this
Guest coachhooker Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 congrats that is a special momement for clay, and he has a chance to pitch in the post season
AJ25 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 have watched him pitch since he was 12, he played ball with my brother for a long time! always knew he would be great!!!
EAGLE07 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 To quote MIF04, " Simply outstanding ". Indeed ! Congratulations ! Awesome !!!
BH85 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Very impressive game and the way he finished it....Now only if the Astros could bring someone like this up....
