Mask - Wear Them or Not

Dims will want you to believe you have to wear a mask, that you have no choice.  But in the same breath, will declare it’s a woman’s choice to be able to murder unborn babies.  Hypocrisy!!

So the governor just mandated ALL to wear a face mask if you are in a county with over 20 cases.  Failure to follow results in citations, with a fine of up to $250.  My question is who is going to enforce this?  Will all of these citations be dismissed like all of the “stay at home” citations?  This just amazes me.  I’m glad I live in the middle of the woods.

Heck, I can loot a store and then burn it down, get arrested and some dem will bail me out, but just let them catch me without a mask and it’s curtains.

From a woman’s perspective....  so, does my body, my choice apply to the wearing of masks or just for the murdering of babies?

The GOP et al scream about the abortion right to life.  Then they turn around and say certain segments of society should be willing to die  so as to open up the economy early.  Hypocrisy abound on both sides.

Last night I went to Krogers about 830pm to get some dog food.  I happened to make eye contact with some woman.  She had on a mask.  Something about her demeanor let me know in a split second that I had left my mask in the car.  So I left my empty grocery cart, went outside and got my mask and put it on.  That was frustrating.   When everyone eased up on wearing masks I did too.  They are hot and uncomfortable.  When you go to speak to someone they often don't understand because it comes out garbled..  But I try not to make waves.  If 'they' say put them on I do so.

Kountzer, the difference is an individual has a choice on whether or not they engage in the liberties opened up by the lessening of restrictions. Nobody is forcing a person to go out in public and risk a very, very, very small chance of contracting the China virus and dying from it. You have the right as an individual to keep yourself quarantined til the end of time if you want. That soul, life, Child of God in the womb does not have a choice. Please don’t use political rhetoric to justify taking a life. I know you are just using an opportunity to demonize the GOP, but it’s a poor example and irresponsible to do so at the peril of killing a child.

I’m not like that though. Read my post and tell me what you disagree with please. I’ve read dozens of your posts. You appear to be an intelligent, caring and Godly person. Please reply to my post about the difference in abortion and China virus deaths.

You would think so, but critical infrastructure companies are immune to lawsuits during this pandemic. And this is still the state of texas, which is a right to work (right to fire) state.

I’m still not sure how much help they are.  Since some States have mandated it already, have they seen a significant drop in cases/deaths?  

Then, if they actually do work, will we be wearing mask until (IF) someone gets a proven safe vaccine?   If it’s proven they work, & we were only going to wear them a month, and it’d go away, fine, but this sounds like there's no end.

I thinks it's more a deterrent. If you're forced to wear one in public, some people would just stay home. I forgot it the other day, and it actually felt weird without it. I leave one my vehicle now.

Dan Patrick danced around with his words, like the politician he is.  The message he and others conveyed were loud and clear: we should sacrifice older people and those susceptible to dying from corona virus so that the economy could be opened up.  

And it was opened up. And now the virus is much worse than it should be.
