BearWolf Posted September 3, 2007 Author Report Posted September 3, 2007 You are absolutely correct titan. I've seen teams who run the spread with no running game to speak of purposely take a penalty in the red zone to get more room to work with. Ronnie may want to think about it.
SFA85 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 To echo what Titan said. You can't have first and goal inside the ten, go double twins and run WR reverses and other silly gimmick plays. Central lined up in their version of the West Virginia offense but once they got inside the 10, I formation and 2 TE's......
KG03bruins7 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 The only run game i see from PAM is the QB on a keeper im sure they will try to make a statment from the RB clay we will just have to see.
Yeoj Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 There is no way PAM beats Ozen without having some sort of running game. They have a really good secondary. Passing every down and going 3 and out keeps their defense fresh. Ozen does have much depth, so you have to lean on them. Passing every down will get PAM beat.
TradinUp BH Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 How will PAM exploit Ozen Scalp'em??I think PAM will run the ball a bunch hopefully and wear down Ozen, then the big plays will open up. PAM should have more quality depth, and be able to control the game into the second half. If this doesn't work then my prediction may be wrong. I don't know if a spread offense wors efficient against Ozen, who will rely on big plays from thier own offense. After reading about thier game with WB, thier Defense may have to win the game for them, which could happen if they can get a couple of picks from the rotating QB's at PAM.
bigd92 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Patterson Clay is more than capable of making Ozen respect the run; PAM has had a full year to implement RT's offense and it is showing with better precision.
BearWolf Posted September 3, 2007 Author Report Posted September 3, 2007 Well, this offense sholud take flight Saturday.I'll be there to see it.
SFA85 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Patterson Clay is more than capable of making Ozen respect the run; PAM has had a full year to implement RT's offense and it is showing with better precision. What percision. Until HBIV got in there, all they did was QB sprint left/right. They stayed in double twins. Alexander either threw to the left a bunch or rolled out to his left and threw back against his body. Revulta(sp) ran hard but his arm is weak. Not much success running with Clay or whoever was running the ball. Two screen left plays yielded 2 scores. Defense got a safety when Fobbs threw the ball away in the endzone while inside the tackle box. No trips sets to either side. Just plain ole double twins. So again I ask you, what percision???
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 PAM by alotOzen better pray for rain that's the only way they win. I saw some highlights of the game, Ozen is an average team, but i think they are better than last year.I got a strange feeling RT has some tricks for Saturday.
BearWolf Posted September 3, 2007 Author Report Posted September 3, 2007 Who will be under center Scooter for PAM?
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 My classmate said Brown , but with RT who knows. It'll probably be a gametime decision.
Guest Ozen Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Hopefully we can pull it out. WB didn't blow us out of the water. It was close for quite a while.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Hopefully we can pull it out. WB didn't blow us out of the water. It was close for quite a while. You're right.
bigd92 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 PAM has some talented kids over there; RT made a decision to use Dual QB's for a reason; I dont understand but he is there and has a much clearer view than I do in regards to the team.Brown may be the better passer and I think he is but it has to be concerns there Definitely not Politics imo.

ozens fastest@1906 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Thats more like it.... I know Ozen is in a rebuilding stag but come on.... There are alot of Senior on that team and they have lots of talent... I think Rison has done a great job on defense and remember defense wins games offense sells tickets...

Zoneblock Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Well The Ozen faithfull have gotten them selves in a bind by running off coaches. The should have left Arthur and Brooks alone and let them do their jobs. Both ran tight ships and had the team heading in the right direction. Hopefully This coach will get some time and fix what was destroyed in 2 short years.
dayton Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 :DYou're right....but you're opening yourself up to a lot of jokes.those that don't know Ozen are gonna respond to the week 0 loss.
Yeoj Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Hey Im from the Pear Orchard and I didn't know fans of highschool football teams had the ability to run off coaches.
Eagle#72008 Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 I Say The Secondary Is Going To Hold P.A.M. Which Which Will Make Them Run The Ball Alot Therefore In Order For Them To Be Really Succesfull The D-Line And Linebacker Would Have To Play Hard......I Say Ozen By 3 or 7 4th Quater Game.....
