scoopno1 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I watched HF last week and see them as an improved team this year. I would think that they would defeat Liberty by a touchdown.
tuffenuff Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I'm gonna have to go with Liberty on this one. They seem to be a team with a lot of spirit and play very well together. I looking forward to a Great season this year for the Panthers!
Wes57 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Gonna be another close one. I just hope it doesn't rain all week and be another soggy game. Hamshire Fannett whipped us last year at their place but I think at home Liberty will win. The Longhorns beat Splendora this past week so I know they'll be tough. Hopefully the Panthers can move the ball on their Defense and controll the game. Liberty by 7
3apantherfan Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I'll take liberty by 12. They should be able to continue to eat up yards on the ground and will hopefully not fumble the ball.
Wes57 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 You know during the first half when it rained the entire time we never fumbled once. About 5 fumbles in the second half when it wasn't raining. Kind of reminded me of the Orangefield scrimmage.
tuffenuff Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 I think the Panthers will put it all together this Friday and it should make for a Great game. Panthers by 14.
hamshirefan Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 why is everybody downing hf they beat splendora - the defending district champs of libertys district- pretty convincingly but yet everyone thinks liberty is going to beat hf
KFDM COOP Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 Several Liberty people are picking Liberty. HF played a great game and the new HC is doing a great job. Should be a great game.
JPanther3 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 i dont think anybody is really downing HF, you guys looked tough last friday, and we know we've got our work cut out for us, but Liberty this year is a whole new team, we've got different starters at different positions, and we haven't put 4 good quarters together yet, hopefully vs. HF we willLiberty 35 HF 21
dav-joel Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 The new HC has passed the first quiz with an A+.He will pass the next one also but it will be much closer.HF by 10
HFHORNS Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Hamshire Fannett, although I think it will be a much harder battle than last week was.Â
Bobkat Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 This will be a good football game, both teams are better and both like to run the ball. It will be close, but I think with Liberty being at home they have a slight edge. But I want be surprised if HF pulls it out!!!
Guest bleed orange Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Riding the fence, bobkat. Thats not like you. I say Liberty in a close one. But then again you have been known to ride the fence "Post". LOL
hamshirefan Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 well im going to have to go with the horns by 7 in a close oneÂ
Guest etbu Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Hey Liberty fans what are they going to do if Coach Stewart has a good run this year? Good luck
HORNSFAN86 Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I think my Horns will eek out another close win. HF by 3 pts.
tuffenuff Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Hey Liberty fans what are they going to do if Coach Stewart has a good run this year? Good luck Not sure anybody knows!
Wes57 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Hey Liberty fans what are they going to do if Coach Stewart has a good run this year? Good luck The best way I can explain it is that the kids think the world of him and don't want him to go. What the schoolboard does is anybodys guess. Personally I hate to see him go. He works the kids hard but seems to always have them ready to play.
HJ-Hawks25 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Very close. I go with HF, even though on the road, they pull this out slightly.
