Clearly this cop was provoked by the chants of the others. These guys should show more restraint. Good thing he didn't his finger on the trigger. What if the bite would have lasted 8 minutes 46 seconds? Would that still be cool?

I think the cops showed marvelous restraint. How long would you let someone say “F” you in your face? The guy shook his butt at the dog. The dog reacted and the cop pulled him off. Yes, that was cool. I guess I should feel sorry for him if he sticks his hand in a cage full of rattlesnakes. There are those who would and they are dumb as a box of rocks.

"F u n my face" is a lil bit different. 20 years ago it wouldn't have happend for long. But I'm older, wiser and a lot slower now. Of course my career is not dependent upon my level of restraint. Also I don't have 100 cameras pointed at me. I've been to a couple anger management classes that have showed me better ways of dealing with it. I guess law enforcement is more worried about military training than peaceful resolution. You are correct about some of these protesters not being the sharpest tool in the shed.
