PNG hit the ball hard all night and their pitchers, all 8 of them, looked good. This team should make a little noise in the playoffs.

Carnahan (soph) is the catcher. He has done a good job for the Indians.

The deal with Buchanon was very unfortunate; however, Carnahan has done a really good job in his stead. Possible Newcomer of the Year in that District?

Carnahan also performed well at the plate when put in line-up. Season stats: 47 AB (14h, 7 rbi, 5r) .298 avg; .383 SL Pct; .300 AVGRSF; .444 OBP, with 128 PO, 10A, 0 E, 0DP, 1 PB. And in case of emergency, he can pitch (was in the starting rotation last year for PNG fresman team, then moved up mid-season to JV).

Everyone has a bad game, just ask BC vs. Cleveland folks. I think Silsbee is overated. I do, however hope they beat Bridge City if given the oppotunity.

Difference in the BC-Cleveland game was that BC was throwing pitchers in that game that were way down their depth chart. Silsbee, on the other hand, had their ace get rocked.
