The state of Washington has to go too. There is no end in sight. America has to be totally destroyed. BLM has NOTHING to do with George Floyd. Its about the raw hatred and destruction of our nation.

If soros is involved then you know the devil's work is at play!

I have a question.  Since Tyler ISD has now set the precedent that the using John Tyler's name has racial underpinnings and it is inappropriate to name any facility in Tyler ISD after John Tyler, can someone tell me when the special meeting is set for Tyler ISD to change its name from, well, Tyler ISD?

Well stated. This could be a reason not to make a change now. Would they lose federal, state, or local funding for a name change?

Yes. Just as I said in another thread, so many are missing that the real issue is not racism (although it certainly exists). Its a spiritual issue. Evil is running wild right now, look at the violence and destruction in our streets. Evil is popular and trendy right now. I fear for our nation and our world right now, but ultimately, I know it will all be OK.

I wish I felt the same. Since I became interested in politics around the 8th grade, I have always heard, “If so and so gets elected, everything is going to Hell...” Blah, blah, blah. But with the current climate, I really feel like if (when?) Biden gets elected, it will be really bad for life as WE know it. I’m not in love with President Trump. I wish he would get off frickin Twitter and quit defeating himself. I am in love with what he did for our economy though. I will be voting for him again. I am afraid VP Biden is a puppet / pawn of the crazy left movement that is seriously trying to stop America from being America. Brothers and sisters on both sides of the aisle, whether you like him or not, he is not the best person in the world, but he is head and shoulders above Biden and the goofy AOC, Ilhan Omar, Bernie Sanders, etc. all of whom are controlling the puppet strings that control his every move. If you love America, then you have to defend America by voting against the socialism that is looking to negatively change our lives. I can’t express how strongly I feel about this.

So, in essence, the Tyler ISD, named for the city named for President John Tyler, which decided about a month ago that President John Tyler's ties to the Confederate States precluded anything in Tyler ISD, which, again, is named for the city named for President John Tyler, from being named for President John Tyler, stripped the name John Tyler from a high school in the Tyler ISD, which again, is named for the city named for President John Tyler and in its place, the Tyler ISD, which is named for the city named for President John Tyler, opted for the name Tyler High as it is named for the City of Tyler, which again, is named for President John Tyler, whom the Tyler ISD, which is named for the city named for President John Tyler, decided is unworthy of having anything named after him in Tyler ISD, which again, is named after the city named after President John Tyler, because his ties to the Confederacy.

I thought I was a smart guy.  But obviously I need help in figuring out how this makes sense.

I had a tough time just reading it. This is the definition of irony. It makes no sense. They did save some money by not having to replace all the signs. Just paint over signs or "wite out" Tyler John on the letterhead and they're done.
