I think some schools are going to be making some schedule changes. Looks like LCM was playing that Katy school but I don’t see it happening now.

Keep in mind they canceled the State basketball tourney between the Semis and Finals, even though the exact same fan bases were already in the Alamodome the day before.

Coaches are scrambling this morning.  Lots of 4a teams are losing non district games

While, the start date remains the same for 4A-1A (for now), this still impacts them.  With the TAPPS, UIL, Dallas County and HISD orders/schedules, here is a synopsis of games lost for SETX schools:

Exactly.

However, they are going to have to find 6A/5A opponents for their non-district games as when they start playing games, many of the 4A-1A schools will be starting district.

So just move to small town to avoid infection? Is there a reason (science  seems to be all the rage lately) behind this? Are they going off of total number of potential infections or per capita rate? Can small schools self-identify as covid-negative even if test says positive?

Just a weird stance taken by UIL, IMO

So MCM will let you know who has the true connections when you see who is in that 50%. Parents of players, cheerleaders, band, etc...or the elite legacy names and friends 😬

There is nothing definite, but I heard that Dr. Elza indicated at the THSCA Clinic yesterday that anybody not on the field, would probably have to wear masks.  But again, nothing official has come down from the UIL
