Control part

Kirbyville 1’s vs Warren 1’s neither scored

2’s vs 2’s kirbyville scores 2 times warren 1

running clock for 18 minutes

kirbyville 14

warren 0

Kirbyville’s offense looked descent at times and like Ned and the 1st reader at other times

Numbers are our problem we can’t run a JV and a Varsity with 31-33 players and be competitive it’s not going happen.

Defensively Kirbyville got better as the contest went on

Warren had some impressive numbers that came out to play. I would say between 55-60 kids. That coach over there is doing a great job it’s definitely not the Warren of old

Wow!! I remember the days kids didn't wanna suit up for Warren. Quite the opposite now I see.

It really helped that we got 3 turnovers, made it a lot better than I expected. I could see most of the scrimmage from my truck, figured I wouldn't get a spot to park but there was plenty of room! Made my night!

I never remember those days you refer to?  Warren has always been 2a/3a and the numbers have always been fairly consistent.  24-30 kids on varsity for as long as I can remember and I have been in and around the community for 43 years.

Mr tomcat is accurate. Warren's success on the field may not be stellar, however they have carried decent numbers on the JV and Varsity squads based on school size.  Actually, based on wins year in and year out and school size, I would consider the number of kids playing to be quite high.

With that said, there have been a few years, though limited, where grades have thinned the numbers at a high level toward the end of the season.

Not sure.  We've always fielded around that many kids, since the early 70's ?  Sometimes, even more than that
