kicker Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 could it be that wos isnt quite as good as everybody thoughtFirst of all, we all thought that we would take our lumps early. We never said we were going to be "that good" I will go as far to say that they look better early than expected. LCM just came to win. It wasnt that we are not "that good", its that LCM might be "that good" Just wait and see, we will still turn heads like we have been for 30 years.
kicker Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Kind of off topic, but LCM has a giant band! They are loud too. As much as I hate to say it, I liked the Bears intro to the game. Shows alot of pride. Keep yelling "first down" but please, please get rid of the Bear growl!! LOL
setxathlete14 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 i don't understand all that hype on that "dpg" kid way overrated to get run down by and lcm safety that was a good 30 yards behind him then fumbles the ball, if i had to say and no offense but his brother should be playing over him...
KFDM COOP Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 It's called the field being to wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both teams had trouble running the ball.

He just runs very quickly and like a pin ball. He is more of an Emmitt Smith type of runner. As far as him being overrated, look at the field conditions both weeks so far. Walter Payton would have kept slipping too!
24 over par Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 bad field i could see a bad looking cloud to the south from dville. we didnt get any rain other than a couple of drops pregame
KFDM COOP Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 could it be that wos isnt quite as good as everybody thought Na, they just beat Dayton in week 0.
WOS92 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Got about 2.5 inches in the two hours before the game in LC.
wos08 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Got about 2.5 inches in the two hours before the game in LC.Hey.. that shouldnt make a difference since were WOS right? : :
BigWolf10 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 This remind me of the 2001 season. Central won that slop bowl 7-6 against Lcm. I think this was the score. It was close.
WOS92 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 LCM is no joke this year. The bad news for them is that this is THE YEAR if it's going to happen. Only one player who has gained yardage so far this year is not a senior - and he's averaging 1.4 ypc. I would say they have a shot at the title, but will need to pick things up BIGTIME. WO-S has struggled at times this year, but we're fortunate to once again have that one player (Hypolite) who will put the team on his shoulders when it counts and say, "We will NOT lose this game."
Gasilla Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 could it be that wos isnt quite as good as everybody thoughtMany thought an 0-3 start was a real possibility (including myself). I think we are WAY ahead of where we hoped we would be. Whether we struggled or not, we still won which is monumental for a young team. I think we're alright.
AJ25 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 very solid showing from lc-m. will be very tough in district this year
mustang mom Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 The Stangs did a great job in finishing the game. Hats off to LC-M for giving us a good one and making us play 48 minutes! I never thought I would say this but good luck this year and I do hope you bring home the 22-4A district championship.
Guest A-TOWN Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 LC-M hung in there, LC-M has a chance to make the playoffs, Nothing against Lumberton, Vidor and Nederland i think its gonna be a fight to the finish.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 I agree, LCM along with Lumberton will be in the hunt.
wos08 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 This years game was severely disappointing..You couldnt really tell much about either teams offense, but both defenses were good Cant wait for nexts years game..WOS is returning everyone and their cousin
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Great game from both teams. Wished we would have had better playing conditions though.
saban Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 If anyone on here thinks LCM will win their district, I suggest you have your head examined. They cannot and will not "win the big one". The will be outmanned and outcoached by at least three teams in that league. Fact is, they played a WO-S team that is really young on a wet field and held the game close. That is a long way from winning their district or making the playoffs. If you want to see LCM in the playoffs, wait until May. HUM BABE!

I think 30 yards behind him may be an overstatement. However, his brother is fun to watch too.
Cardfan Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Congrats to Rhodes for your touchdown your aunt loves you
