NedDog Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Great job by the Dogs this week. This will do nothing but build confidence in not only Bellow, but in the entire team. [move]WAY TO GO DOGS!! [/move]
Bigdog Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Did anybody hear a final passing total for Bellows?
BearWolf Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Passing Name    Comp Att Pct Yds TD INT Kirby Bellow 9   24 37.5 119 4 1
Bigdog Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 not too bad for a sophomore in his first game.
NedDog Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 not too bad for a sophomore in his first game. Not bad at all. This gives us a solid base to build upon. There seems to be a few opportunities for improvement on special teams which will hopefully be addressed before we begin district play.Â
bulldawg64 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 YEA THE DOGS WILL BE ALRIGHT WITH THEIR SOUTHPAW SOPHMORE HE SHOWED ALOT OF POISE TONIGHT FOR HIS FIRST VARSITY GAME FOR A 15 YEAR OLD.RIGHT ON THE MONEY ON THE PASSES SOME DROPPED THOUGH!
MikeEast Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 There seems to be a few opportunities for improvement on special teams which will hopefully be addressed before we begin district play. Thats a nice way to put it ND..  I would say they either need to change their philosophy on kickoff coverage,,,, or if they believe in their system and think the kids are not getting it done start having the kickoff coverage team run 10 air raid drills for everytime that the returner crosses the 30 for any reason. I bet they would see a miraculous improvement. ;D But its not a new problem, its been a weakness for a few years.
Guest 87CRU79 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 As they say, "Success breeds success." Keep up the good work Kirby! The whole community is behind you.
24 over par Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 looks like the 10th grader will be alright
Guest etbu Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Hey you Ned fans first of all hats off to you for a great start this year and looks like you may make some serious noise this year. One question for you and how does the tb from FB look and the rest of their team? Thanks
Guest tigersvoice Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Looks like he's going to be more than alright.
jake94 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 #2 from Forest Brook was the only really impressive kid they had. He was very fast when he got thru the line. Â But, their offensive line is a mess and their QB tries to do waaaaaay too much. I think if you rushed the punter for them that you could block the punt EVERY time.
jake94 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Forest Brook was horrible. No doubt about it. I was happy to see the soph QB throw 4 td's to 4 different wideouts and get some confidence though. HISD football ir ridiculous.

jake94 Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 I remember when they were fairly decent. Right now they are a mess.
