LionBacker99 Posted August 30, 2020 Report Posted August 30, 2020 Livingston was up 14 with about 1:15 left. Needville scored in I think three plays starting from midfield, and went for an onside kick. The Lions recovered, but with 50 seconds left fumbled the first play on a toss, Blue Jays recovering. With one time out, they drove (if you can call another three plays a drive) down the field and dove into the end zone with 15 seconds left, and converted for two for a one point lead. Needville pooched the kick, and the Lions ran a play or two and got to Needville's 35. Down one, the field goal unit took the field, but the kick was blocked to end the game. Oh to be a Lions fan. Wouldn't trade it for anything. That aside, it was a great game and Livingston is looking much better than in years past. Will be interested to see what we can do over the rest of the season. Hagar 1 Quote

I’ve heard the team as a whole is better than the last few. Good luck to Livingston this year. Quote

According to DCTF they return 8 on offense and 7 on defense. Including the QB who slings it around pretty well. You are correct in them losing a very good RB. Quote
