PURPLE 4EVER
Take a look at the Bronco Highlights from Nacogdoches...www.toupsgraphics.neptune.comEven without Cody back...We lose AJ as a receiver, but he touches the ball every play.He had two great throws for receptions. He will allow Gable to get lose because the defense has to focus on him first....and....The defense is just AWEsome.Nacogdoches kept trying to pound the bowl between the tackles and their running back never got lose.Nacogdoches lone TD was just an AWEsome touchdown toss. The Bronco secondary is one of the best around.Five interceptions in one game is tremendous.WOS couldn't even pass on them, they were able to run the ball in the second half.Should be a great game. With it being Dayton's home openner, the largest crowd to watch any type of event in Liberty county, I say the Broncos ride the emotion to a win.GET WELL SOON CODY!!!! FriendswoodFan
Wow, so your defense was awesome against Nac. Big deal. So what happened against WOS?Friendswood by 20! It will not be close.
dawgnut
We have played Friendswood several times in the last years and I know this, if you take them lightly you may walk out of Bronco Stadium with your heads hanging. They always play tough and with attitude so you better be ready!

Guest TravelingBandsman
Just like WOS was supposed to be. This game has a little revenge behind it. Friendswood vs. Dayton is always a good game. I'm glad I'll probably get to come down to see it. First game in the new renovated stadium as well. That should be a bit of a change. AJ has proved himself to be a very skilled quaterback. I think he'll be a good part of it all. Combined with Gable and the rest of the Bronco offense, I think we can move the ball. Our defense proved itself time and time again last Friday.

They always play tough and with attitude so you better be ready!we've played them the past two years in week two.....From talking to the coaching staff...I guarantee that no one is taking them lightly (except those on this board that are speaking out of purple pride)...They are always big, talented and very well coached....this year is no different. Their offense is going to be very good (Google Jacob Karam and see what I mean) and their defense always tackles well and is led by an all-state linebacker if I'm not mistaken. No predictions here....I hope the Broncos can rise to the occasion. FriendswoodFan
Friendswood has a huge offensive line, with 3 seniors who have already committed to D1 college programs, a junior QB who is the no. 1 QB recruit in his class for schools like Stanford and LSU, two stud running backs, and a WR who has several D1 offers. They are not Nacogdoches my purple friends! And, yes, they have a great defense led by a pre-season all-state LB that just held the Gretaer Houston Area No.6 team to 3 points. bronco1
No one who matters is taking Friendswood lightly. There is a reason Dayton plays Friendswood in non-district, because they respect them as opponents. Friendswood always brings it. Anyone with any sense knows that, it will be a good game. Short out passes seemed to be something the broncs couldn't stop, but hopefully that's fixed by now. We're rooting for y'all to win 22-4A. It has to be you or LC. Win it. dayton
thinking back to last year....Our season so far is glaringly similar. Not just with the wins and losses but with the way the offense and defense has performed as well. I think this will wind up being a close game. Definitely a good test before district. Bronco1....will evan brown play in this game??
