TrojanWarrior08
Seems weird that Tarkington just beat LaMarque... Are the Longhorns good this season or the Cougars bad
Mr. Buddy Garrity
This is not a surprise. LM is not the LM of the past.

Great job by Horns, but Hurricane Ike was the start of the demise of LaMarque, and Harvey finished them off
AggiesAreWe
LaMarque is basically the JV of Texas City these days. And TC isn't that great either.

Agreed. Neither is that great, and sad to say, both will only continue to get worse.

Only down fall he has still yet to have a true normal offseason. He was hired so late in the game last year...
oldschool2
Is it true that Tarkington has a move in that did good things last night? That never hurts.
Football Freak
I’m glad Tarkington is starting off well. Hopefully the can maintain the momentum and put together a string of wins.
D3zii
Wow, not here to take anything from Tarkington but you knew this was coming, same thing that happen to Ball. Remember all those Great G.Ball teams, now look at them. People are moving away from the coast and more inland. Not just the coast though, All those Houston teams are a mere image of there former selves. Remember that year Aldine High was like the #1 team in the nation, but if you seen them now, you wouldnt even know the proud history, or even Yates and Sterling out of HISD. I feel for La Marque, those athletes out there in the early 2000's took a back seat to no one throughout the entire country.
