HD, stop trying to be cute and fancy. Put your best kids on the field where it gives you the best chance to win. If it means a kid Is a lineman instead of TE fine. A TE instead of a WR or QB, oh well. It’s 2A D2 ball. Don’t try to spread it around and make everyone happy. Feed your horses and the backup horses will probably be adequate linemen even if they’re undersized or never played there before. 
 

I’d have Aguirre at tackle and Landon sellers and cayden weeks at TE spots. Let’s roll with Devante Broussard at QB and get the ball in Dawson Victorian’s hands, those two players are elite talents.

HD is taking on another 3A opponent this week. It will benefit them in District. HD has to move some of its athletes to the offensive line, it will benefit the two studs they have in Broussard and D. Victorian. Both those kids have track speed.

HD fought super hard against another bigger 3A team. Once again our boys were just to tired and wore out in 4th quarter. If you notice the sideline, we have 3-4 giant boys that never get to play one snap... HD has a few starters that need to be moved to the offensive line, to bad if you are no longer a skill player, if your a good size/good athlete, put them on the O-line/TE, then roll with or two fastest players, we all know who they are... HD has the opportunity to build the top Offensive line in district, just gotta quit trying to make skill players out of everyone. #bigboysneedin #letsputsometalentontheline

Good competitive game. Congrats to Danbury on the win. HD is playing tough, just gotta stay focused, eliminate mental errors and make the plays you’re supposed to make.

In my opinion,  the story of the game was special teams. Danbury had great field position all game long and HD couldn’t find good field position. Penalties once again hurt HD. But all in all HD has some great young talent . Their fill in QB has a pretty good arm and decent feet . Hope they do some QB sharing duties once their starter gets back.

I’ve watched all the HD games in person. If Sellers and Aguirre line up at starting book end TE’s, Weeks moved to the primary WR, along with new Dayton move in Jeremiah. We beef up the o-line with some of these monsters on side line. Then we start Devante as the full time QB, with Dawson at the lone RB in the backfield, run a lot of zone reads. You do a few good things, you are solidifying the O-line with athletes, to provide Devante and Dawson some holes. It also show cases our two top talents Broussard and Dawson, while still allowing Broussard to have several weapons in the receiving game. Sellers and Aguirre at starting TE’s, they could be the best duo in SETX. Then Weeks and Jeremiah at WR’s! HD instantly becomes a balanced team full of weapons!
