Best SETX teams that has not won a state championship

Since we have some down time until Week 4 begins who are the best in the area that has never won the big one... For me it's Jasper, Silsbee, and Coldspring

92 & 93 West Brook teams were ridiculously good! 10-0 two years in a row. Top 10 in the state both years. Lost in the 1st round of the playoffs both years. Only coaching got in their way.

Those Spearman/McGuire led teams were really good. Didn't get as far as we should have cause of unfortunate injuries.

The talent on those 3 teams were exceptional even for Jasper standards and each of them was more than capable of winning state.

 

I know there were some before those years too, but that is a little before my time.

For teams that won state before Id pick any of those WO-S teams in the 90s that lost to La Marque...for those that didn't Silsbee and Jasper had some really good teams over the years but never won state
