I went and watched for a little bit didn't stay the entire scrimmage.  It was a controlled game, no kick-off, no punts, no punt returns,and no field goal kicks. Dayton had some descent size lineman, fumbled several times, ran a lot of cross routes, screen plays, ran ball up the gut. I got to go watch them play ome game last year so don't have a lot to compare them too..

Galveston Ball scored twice on Dayton while I was there but they didn't use the scoreboard for anything it was just lit up.

If I’m not mistaken the final score was 20 -16 Dayton. Dayton looked a lot better than they have the last several years. Hope I’m wrong but I don’t think they’ll make the playoffs this year but I believe they may surprise a couple of teams.

They looked decent , quite a bit of speed and definitely not afraid to hit. Not sure what they normally look like but I think they will continue to improve the more games they play.
