Guest BobcatBeliever Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Ewwwwwwwwwwww I think the Big Red Bird is getting ready to take a flight!!!!! lol
adminbaberuth Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Great pitching duel between Womack and Angelle. As expected, Angelle got his 12 k's and only minimum hits, but Womack was very impressive and shut down a potent hitting attack of BC. Womack has done this all year, and with Elhert well rested, this LCM team could make some serious noise. LCM put some pressure of BC's defense, which BC should build on during the playoffs.
2bagger Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 was the Schneider injury serious? it would be a shame to lose such a great player right before the playoffs (esp at SS).
OldSchool98 Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 just goin to be a bad bruise i would say... he'll be back before playoffs im sure.
espn2 Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Looks like both coaches went after the win. BC threw Angelle a ton of pitches. And LCM pulled out all the stops running the bases. So much for this game not really not being important. Anyone how did go really missed out.
Bears Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Wes should be OK he is tough, Knee shot right above his kneecap. We were lucky Dugas moved to short and Martin moved from left to third for the first time this year. Angelle look good and Womack was awesome, Bears just kept applying pressure and it paid off. Cardinals made a few mistakes and Bears scored, congrats to Coleman great night for him. And Ehlert hit a bomb as well, Amazing Feat tonight as the Bears won there 20th game in a row.......Now for sure a school record.
MIF04 Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Womack pitched great. It was a very impressive night for him and he kept BC off balance all night (except for Coleman who had 2 hits including HR). Angelle threw well with the only hard hit ball off him being Ehlert's HR. Ehlert was dominant closing out the gae. For what it is worth, this game was played in a playoff-like atmosphere and proved that, in that kind of game, mistakes can cost you runs and runs given away cost you games. Congrats to the Bears on their 20th in a row. A great season gets better.
