Number #1 National Recruit in the class of 2022,  Emoni Bates and his team Ypsi Prep Academy out of Michigan will play 6A Power House Duncanville as part of a Thanksgiving Hoopfest doubleheader November 28, 2020 at American Airlines Center.  Bates appeared on the Cover of Sports Illustrated at the young age of 15 last year.  Some people have considered Bates as the Best High School Recruit since King James, Durant and Kobe Bryant.  Tickets will go on sale to the public on November 02, 2020, for information visit www.thanksgivinghoopfest.com.  Due to the COVID-19 this years event will have "Limited capacity at The ACC".

The event coordinator is working to finalize the teams for the 6 p.m. game.

Blood bath.   Unless D’ville’s coach’s son flies in from Lubbock and suits up.  Then it might be semi-competitive.

Tickets for the Thanksgiving Hoopfest will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, October 16, 2020.  Glenn Smith with T-Hoopfest will announce the other 2 teams that will participate at this year's event tomorrow morning (10-16-2020).  You can find the information on www.thanksgivinghoopfest.com or their twitter page.  The doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the American Airlines Center. Limited seating do to the pandemic for this event.  

2nd Game will feature: Ypsi (#1 Player Emoni Bates) vs Duncanville at 8 p.m. American Airlines Center.
