So AggiesAreWe is there any Turf possible in Silsbee’s future.

Yeah I" understand the field would be wet. And it's going to get messed up. But the field will still be wet Saturday at 7:30 to.. And I" have heard with in the next 3 years Silsbee should have turf. If so that's going to be awesome.!

I" have been asking my self that same question since they opened the school up. But like anything $$$...!

The field already has the drain system set up for turf. It was in the plans when stadium was built.

It's been discussed the last few years with the school board actually getting a feasibility study done on it a couple of years ago.

We will see. It will eventually happen.

Dawg, you gotta realize, this is Silsbee. The original plan was to grow hay for the Ag Dept in the off season.

Hell, it’s like a marsh right now. Lol. But I have an idea... The coach can go down to Parker’s Lumber and buy some of that cheap indoor outdoor carpet they put in the deer stands and have some temporary artificial turf. He could’ve even got it donated if y’all hadn’t lost to Jasper already.

Worse of the rain is supposed to be over in between 7 - 9 tonight.

That gives the field a little over 20 hours to dry out.
