baddog Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 This pic taken by visitor's concession stand...9-11-07This one taken from outside of fence zoomed all the way up with no tripod. Not bad for a hacker....9-11-07
JMay Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Nice. First problem this weekend. I remember when PNG played Jacksonville a few years ago and the scoreboard said "Indians" vs. "Indians" This weekend its the Bulldogs vs. Bulldogs...will Nederland do the same? ;D
baddog Posted September 11, 2007 Author Report Posted September 11, 2007 As I was getting back into my truck, I looked back and the screen was showing the cheerleaders. Of course they are on the track and I don't know how many cameras are hooked up, but possibly can scan the crowds during the game. The screen has a super clear picture. Any blurriness is on me.

I don't see any way around that.In the 1st pic, if the camera had panned to the right about 15 yards, I would have taken a pic of myself taking the pic.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Very nice! How many men does it take to run that thing during a game?
dat_hook_em_fan Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 its ok.........im just saying........lol :-\
SportsFanatic79 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 From my understanding, the consession stand under the home side was turned into a production booth. My guess is that it will take at least 5 to run the board. That includes three camera men.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Too bad my Jags dont' play there this year. I wanted to be 'blown up' on the jumbotron! ;D ;D
baddog Posted September 11, 2007 Author Report Posted September 11, 2007 Too bad my Jags dont' play there this year. I wanted to be 'blown up' on the jumbotron! ;D ;DCheck the Jag's bye week. If Nederland is at home, come check it out. I know you will be wanting to catch a game somewhere.
dave08 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 that is prob the best invetment nisd has ever made.GO BULLDOGS!!!
baddog Posted September 11, 2007 Author Report Posted September 11, 2007 that is prob the best invetment nisd has ever made.GO BULLDOGS!!!Totally donated. Not one red cent from Nederland taxpayers was spent. That's the way I understand it.
reb14fan Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Something to be proud of. Great addition to a great program...
Cardinal Supporter Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 I wish we had one of those at Bridge City. One would believe that there is enough industry in Orange county that all the high schools in Orange county could have one of those.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Check the Jag's bye week. If Nederland is at home, come check it out. I know you will be wanting to catch a game somewhere.Central and Nederland has the same bye week, week 3.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 My mom grew up on 21st street (smartest thing she ever did was marry a man from PNG and move to Port Neches ), and is still friends with the lady who lives in the white house directly behind the scoreboard....Anyways....The lady who lives on 21st street says when she walks out of her door, it is still kind of scary to see the Bulldogs right in front of her face. I told her to always leave her front window unscreened, and it would be like she would have a beautiful painting in her house. The score board is very very nice!!!!The mural on the back is just AWEsome! Can't wait till the Dayton - Bulldog game...I will make sure I get some of the Dayton TD's highlights from the jumbotron, or...Will Nederland show the highlights from both teams????Congrats Nederland on the new scoreboard.
LLDad Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 Very nice. LC-M has just started replays and shots of the stands. Your screen seems bigger. :'( :'( Look forward to seeing it this year.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 That thing looks good man, and you know it! lol. Sure your just saying that because in Galveston and Harris county, those things are the norm. But down here, Ned is setting trends. Who cares that we are 20 light years behind.
Bigdog Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 We took some damage on the board, just to the back it looks like. We should be okay for Friday. They are working on it now (11:00 am)
