Newton vs Warren

Well, after losing the first two games of the season, the Eagles have run off three games scoring at least 62 points while allowing 17 points it seems the Eagles may have turned a corner. This week Newton travels to Warren on Saturday. Warren is 0-2 in District play. What say ye. Newton gathers another win.

The problem with running the clock is that u need to play your kids to get them in shape for the playoffs. Especially during a shortened season like this year.

I never liked the running clock.  Do both teams have to agree to that?  Non starters need the reps.

I was being nice aTmfan06 with the 30 it could easily be more than 30 in the first Newton will put up over 60 again with ease and then they will be nice and stop scoring just like in previous games.... and whoever picked warren to win you must have been dropped on your head a few times 2 many 🤣

What happens if In the playoffs a team gets hit with Covid. Does the UIL allow for that game to be played at a later date or will it be a forfeit for the team affected?

 
If so, it could be a wild playoff year.

I don’t think warren will score in this one unless it’s a blown coverage or a big run or Newton just puts all the freshmen in or something like that Newton will score easily and often until they decide to stop
