I hate to see this happen to anyone, but Joe is getting mentally worse in a hurry.  This reminds me of my BIL who has advanced dementia.  He lives outside Atlanta and we went to a Falcon game & used his season tickets (my first time in the Stadium).   When it was time to leave, he was going to go up the stairs.  I told him, Hey, we shouldn’t we be going down.  Oh yea, don’t know what I was thinking.   In this article, Joe has to ask how to leave the stage.  I do wonder what they give him for debates.   It wakes him up for a couple of hours.
