Eazy Posted October 15, 2020 Report Posted October 15, 2020 Saturday at 1:00 pm. I hear the tickets are already gone. This looks like the 2nd place game for this district. Who takes it? Quote
jimmyw Posted October 15, 2020 Report Posted October 15, 2020 Hemphill should win by 20 but if they play sloppy New Waverly could upset them. Bulldogs are fairly descent team. Setx fan 1 Quote
purpleeagle Posted October 15, 2020 Report Posted October 15, 2020 New Waverly has a legit QB. Hemphill has a legit running back. If Hemphill turns the ball over like they did last week they will lose. NW 24 Hhill 21. Quote
H-STING Posted October 16, 2020 Report Posted October 16, 2020 Hemphill has 2 ground pounding 200lb backs. A quarter back that can thread a needle throwing the ball and 2 out right Athletes with a ton of speed. So what’s that mean. Well I guess nothing if you can’t get all that organized an executing to perfection. They are still playing like a pre season team on Offense. The defense seems to have found their footing over the last couple of weeks. Will see if Offense shows up Saturday. The good news is Newton showed Hemphill how to stop that quick pass New Waverly loves to throw on the slant across the middle. The bad news is Newton beat the crap out of them. They will be looking for pay back Saturday. I watched NW and Newton play Monday. NW I thought played a respectable first quarter then the wheels feel off and it was the Newton beat down show after that. I believe Hemphill has way more weapons on offense than NW has. If Hemphill gets their act together I look for them to win this game. If not they just as well hang up those shoes and get ready for basketball. Quote
