Heard on the radio Silsbee is in great shape. Doesn't look like anything happened there. One man dead in BC area from debree falling on him according to local radio.

HOOOOOOOLY COW!!!!! That storm was unreal nasty. If those were 80 mile an hour winds, I am sure glad I wasn't here to witness Rita. I am in Orange and we have no power. I'm on my battery on laptop and sitting in my car listening to the radio. They are saying 100,000 people without power. Do not know when we may get power back. Hope it will be soon.

For the guy who asked, Orange was hit pretty hard. Lot's of debris, fallen trees, limbs etc. My yard is littered with it. I heard about the death in BC. A guy was under his carport watching the storm and it collapsed on him. This storm came in the same way Rita did. The wind was blowing the same direction.

They sure did cancel school early yesterday here in Dayton...
