Dayton's Green Out For Year (Possibly)

Dayton's Cody Green out for the year those that haven't heard...

Tore up his ankle last week in a win over Nacogdoches. Had surgery either this morning or yesterday. Recovery time is three to four months.

Ankle ligaments detached, but not a break from what I understand.

Have not seen this posted. Just read it on a college board.

From the University of Texas messageboard (orangebloods.com). It is a pay site. Their recruiting scout (the boards not UT's) was in the area yesterday and that is what he was told.....

That does not make him right, that was just the first time I had heard of it.

That is a shame. Possibly the two best QB's in 22-4A go down with very similar injuries. Nederland/Dayton meet late in the season. How cool would that be if both are playing again?!?!?! Get well soon Cody and Ryan.
