The kids at Dayton (and the coaches) have enjoyed my predictions and summaries.

On Teusday I post the previews, Thursday I post the predictions, and on Saturday I post the summaries.

Sometimes I get really close to the final score....

Read on to see how close I was to the outcomes of the games last night.

GAME SUMMARIES

TOUPS GRAPHICS IS 5 AND 1 GOING INTO THE SATURDAY GAMES! Several of the predictions are almost to the point.

GAME OF THE WEEK

Friendswood at Dayton

Easily the greatest football game played in east Texas this year. At The beginning of the 4th quarter it was Dayton 21 Friendswood 14, almost exactly what I predicted, then the offenses took over. Although not as quick as WOS, Friendswood has a very good team. The Broncos stood toe to toe with them until the very end. Three long passes given up by the Bronco secondary (one with 3 minutes left) was the difference in the game.

FRIENDSWOOD 31 DAYTON 28

PREDICTION.....

What a game this will be in Dayton. Toups Graphics sees a defensive dominated game with both teams unable to punch the ball in. The match up of the game will be the Friendswood linebackers containing Dayton's QB. If they are unable to do this look for Dayton to roll up the rushing yards between the 20's. The other key match up will be the young Dayton Bronco defensive line. If they can stop the run and apply pressure on the Friendswood QB good things will happen for Dayton.

Wow... This game is tough. I can't go against my team.

Vidor at Houston Jones (Thursday)

The Pirates went to one and one with a huge statement. The Pirates run offense was in full gear during thier victory. Toups Graphics was almost exact on the correct score!

PREDICTION.....

The Pirates will be steering the Black Pearl into the harbor of victory Thursday night. Look for Vidor to roll up over 250 yards of rushing offense and dominate Houston Jones. Vidor wins this going away.

Waller at Nederland

Waller had a little more offensive production than I thought scoring twice. Nederland's sophomore QB is looking VERY strong throwing the winning TD late in the 4th quarter. Toups Graphics almost predicts this game to the point, just one touchdown away on Waller.

NEDERLAND 21 WALLER 14

PREDICTION.....

The Bulldgogs will finally get to see their highlights on the new jumbotron. Waller will test the Bulldogs quarterback with lots of blitzes. Nederland's defense will need a huge game to help out the offense. Look for the Bulldogs to be able to move the ball just enough to come out victorious. Nederland's defense will score once in their win.

PN-G at Silsbee

I N D I A N S SCALMP EM INDIANS SCALP EM...

I thought I heard the echoes of Cherokee playing over and over all the way in Dayton. The Indians finally erupted and look strong going into district play.

PN-G 43 SILSBEE 0

PREDICTION.....

Let's see.... PN-G has zero wins and zero touchdowns, but are yet ranked in the top 20 in Region 3. Look for the PN-G offense to finally get on track in Silsbee and finally score some offensive points. The defense will slow down Silsbee enough to get the tribe their first victory.

Bridge City at Lumberton

The Raiders look very strong. The L Train is running at full steam. Toups Graphics is very close to the final score of the game.

PREDICTION.....

The L-Train will be steaming full ahead as the Raiders dismantle the Cardinals Friday night. Look for over 300 yards passing from Lumberton in a convincing win as the Raiders will be undefeated heading into their 3rd game.

EXTRA MOJO MAGIC POINTS TO TOUPS GRAPHICS! Almost predicts this score to the point!

PREDICTION.....

Central will rebound from their loss to West Brook. Central will have too much speed and win the skills position battles. Central pulls out a win on the road.

Kashmere at LC-M

LC-M had a strong performance against a very good WOS team last week, and now they play a weaker HISD team. Look for LC-M to dominate Kashmere and get a convincing win. Kashmere finally scores a TD in the 4th quarter against the LC-M reserves to avoid a shut out.

Ozen at Seguin (Saturday in Clear Lake)

Penalties and mistakes will do Ozen in as they will still be searching for their first win of the season after Saturday night. Seguin will win the battle in the trenches and pull away in the 2nd half.

dude you are wrong about the Ozen score.  The Panthers should win tonight against a weak Seguin team.  The Mats have been out scored in two games

92 - 6.  I think the score will be more like Ozen 28  Seguin 7.
