HJ Picks Up Guard

Not sure where he's from but i hear he's a good one.

I know they got 1 from Liberty last year after the season.Not sure if they have another one or not.They could have 7 play at home and a different 7 on the road.I don't know how Todd  keeps em all playing with just 1 ball but he does.

Ya there was two guys that Moved to HJ from Liberty. One of them Didn't play for the School Last year but he is REALLY GOOD!!!

if height is 6 foot and over, then hj has sundgren,ricossa,and maybe burrell and fontenot, not sure how tall they are

They may not be real tall but Burrell and Fontenot can both play above the rim.

yeah watch for burrel to dunk on some more kids this year.  Whenever he gets out of football he will take his starting postion probaly at the 4.

and are we talking about guillory coming from Liberty?

Guillory was the one I was talking about that moved from Liberty last year.He will definitely help at the guard position(as if HJ needed help).I was also really impressed this summer with Fontenot,that kid is gonna be a factor.McNeely also stepped up and played really well as did a soph.I think his name was Jacolby but I'm not sure.I know this sounds crazy but as good as Ryan was I think this team as a group has the potential to be better.

The story I here as that neither is fully qualified at this point.  Therefore why are we even talking about these two kids.  Once and if they even become qualified then we can discuss if they can help the HJ team!!!!!!!

what do you mean qualified, anyways we got two from liberty, chad mouton(sp?) and guillory both short, but they can play some basketball

They can't be that good.  If they played, then Liberty would have been better.  If they didn't play, then they went a whole year without playing.  How good could they be.  They couldn't top HJ lineup.

mouton didnt play, guillory only played half a season due to injury, i guess well have to see if there gunna help or not

False, both of them are better than me. Ive been on varsity since i was a sophomore. They are both legit. Take that to the bank.

I have seen guys who have made great strides in improving their games over the summer. I cannot count the number of times I have seen players who may have played against each other in the past and the previous dominant player get his tail kicked for believing his opponent 's game hasn't changed. Basketball has a way of balancing out a player's game once his mental and physical skills began to mesh together.

Don't know the Mouton boy - but Stephen Guillory started for the Liberty Panthers as a Freshman and Soph. he is a decent player.  He was not hurt any last year but maybe for a game or 2.  If he is put is a structured program - one that Liberty does not have - he may wll do very well.  But watching the HJ guards fron last year he may have a hard time getting a lot of playing time - depends on who they have returning.

Stephen will get some minutes no doubt.He has all the tools.I don't know how they do it but Todd, Clay and the other guy find a way to get the manager some playing time.HJ is gonna be deep this year,thats gonna be there strength.They will be a lot of fun to watch.
