Bridge City at Orangefield

After 7 years the Bayou Bowl is back. Could be looking at this game later on saying it decided the final playoff spot. Both teams currently tied for 4th at 1-2.

 

After this the Bobcats have HF and HJ left and the Cardinals have Liberty and WOS left

Orangefield could end up tied for second, with HJ and Silsbee, with 4-2 records. prob shouldnt happen, but possible? be placed in brackett by point differences in games played against each other, i would imagine?  I could see Silsbee dropping to 4th seed, and being able to play winner of Jasper and WOS for chance to get Carthage in 4th round for regional championship. And it might be pouring down rain that night and Silsbee goes to semis again?

I'm not seeing carthage playing wos or Jasper until state more like 3rd Belleville and wimberely for semifinals but who knows

Carthage wouldn't play WO-S or Jasper at state.  Carthage is in the same region as both the Mustangs and the Bulldogs.  If they play, it would be at the latest, in the Region III quarterfinals.

I'm so glad the Cats and Cards are playing again.  I'm pulling for the field but I just gotta feeling it is gonna be tough to beat the bridge this year.
