KFDM COOP Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Up to this point before District What teams have been surprises? What teams have been Disappointments? Anything surprise you about your team or another team?
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Coop, you always come up with these good subjects. Kudos to you, man! What suprised me is PN-G ditching the spread and going back to the smashmouth game. Suprising, but I love it! Disappointing thing is WO-S's lack of points on the board lately. But I am confident once district starts, they will look like a well oiled machine. I expect nothing less from a Hooks coached team.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 PAM and WOS not lighting up the scoreboard.Nederland is good
tvc184 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Didn't PN-G go to the spread a couple of years ago, only to ditch it a few games into the season?
Bobcatfan4life Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Some surprises to me......Nederland's early success24-2A is looking REALLY goodKelly is killing peopleSome disappointments......OF, BC and West Hardin winless
PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Surprise...The Lumberton Raiders impressive start.Nederland still clicking with the young quarterback.Disappointments.2 star quarterbacks, probably out for the season. You only have one or two (sometimes more) years of playing under the lights on Friday and when an injury takes away one of them, well, it is just a sad thing.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Some surprises to me......Nederland's early success24-2A is looking REALLY goodKelly is killing peopleSome disappointments......OF, BC and West Hardin winlessKelly would beat alot of teams in that area. I talked to my cousin last night, seems like that game could have been worse.
Wes57 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Probably Tarkington playing as poorly as they have.
Guest Orangeboy Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 With BC I have seen both. I was very suprised with their performance against Liberty, but that faded into disappointment against Lumberton this past week. Still gotta pull for my boys though.Lets Go Big Red!
whsalum Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Hardin Hornets-I was wrong about them, they are playing light years ahead of last years club.Overall improvement of the clubs in 24aa.

Raider88 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Surprise: The amount of points the Lumberton Raiders have been putting up, and that is with putting in some replacements in the 3rd quarter!!!
Guest Hatchet Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 remember that letsinger, simmons and the wr were 95% of the offense last year. give the oilers some time. they will be ok come district.
Guest christglorified Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 If by ok you mean finishing second to hd and getting pounded in the first round....then i agree.
WHFAN Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 If by ok you mean finishing second to hd and getting pounded in the first round....then i agree.HA HA HA WH will make it a 4 peat this year
whsalum Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Early in the year I thought HD would be a big favorite.I don't think it will be so one sided now.WH plays a very physical game and when playing teams there own size will be pretty effective. The WH vs HD game will be worth the price of admission.
WHFAN Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 The WH and HD game will be a good one
82 5A State Champs Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Suprise-that WB has not been running the ball like last year. Disappointment-that PAM doesn't seen to have a better team than predicted
WHFAN Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 If by ok you mean finishing second to hd and getting pounded in the first round...christglorified if you think HD's going anywhere I've got one word for you ALTO ;D ;D ;D
