Wise Guy
I figured since some teams are on a bye week, maybe I could stir up a friendly debate. I was able to get some stats from the Houston Chronicle, and these were our area's receiving leaders, by TD Receptions. I am sorry if I have left anyone out, but feel free to add a name to the debate.Name Team Rec Yds Yds/Catch Long TD Asa Cardenas Nederland 14 250 18 64 4 Joshua Powdrill Beaumont West Brook 12 295 25 0 4 Victor Spikes Beaumont Central 11 189 17 56 3 Hunter Davis Hardin 17 173 10 0 3 Daniel Marsh Hardin 18 307 17 0 3 Aaron Credeur Lumberton 4 99 25 0
BMTSoulja1
Powdrill. He has speed and runs precision routs, making him very difficult to defend. Also looks for yards after the catch.
BigWolf10
Cardenas is a excellent reciever. He's a go getter. He impressed against Brenham.

Yeoj
Hands down Powdrill, of course I'm a bit of a homer. ;DAlso he had 2 bombs of 81 and 78 yards called back for bogus calls.

Guest 87CRU79
Asa Cardenas is a play maker. He caught a simple hitch route, broke about 3 tackles, and then preceded to take it to paydirt for 6. OH, and he burnt Brenham's DB's.....TWICE! Wise Guy
The names I orignally put on the list were the TD reception leaders from our area according to the Houston Chronicle. I didn't see Smith or King in the stats, but both of them are good WR's.
Pimp Smack
too many nederland fans on the boards. nobody form a different team can win ne thing. josh powdrill is clearly the better reciever. stats and skill wise.
BMTSoulja1
Do the Nederland fans actually come out and see other teams besides the bulldogs? I've actually seen like 6 different teams and am not biased. That kid from Brook is head an shoulders above the rest. 2. King3. Cardenas 4. Spikes

Guest ECBucFan
Yall are missing on Marsh. If he was closer and on TV more, instead of playing for Hardin, you would understand. Guy has a ton of heart, too.
Bigdog
Hmmm, maybe we don't go to other games because we actually support our team and would rather be there cheering for them. You know, backing your team.

WH-BackInThaDay
Marsh from Hardin is a big, stong kid. He's fast and runs hard. I haven't seen the others play so I don't feel right voting on this topic, but I know he is a player any coach around would love to have on his team.
