KFDM COOP Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Predictions? This game is on Thursday night in Houston i believe.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Lamar has this one. If Lamar still has that QB from last year, this could be a long year. Memorial's best chance was last year. IMO, last year's squad was better.
KFDM COOP Posted September 17, 2007 Author Report Posted September 17, 2007 Info on Lamar!http://www.chron.com/sports/highschoolsports/results.html?site=default&tpl=team&SearchType=Teams&Sport=1&TeamID=230&DistrictID=&SearchDate=09%2F17%2F07&SearchDateEnd=09%2F17%2F07
jake94 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Lamar lost to Brenham by 1 point last week. Nederland beat Brenham by 1 point. Several on here say that Memorial would smoke Nederland. So..... shouldn't this be a Memorial blowout?!? I am just kidding guys.. I know comparing scores is no way to accurately handicap a game. But, it is food for thought in this situation..
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Titan, is that the same QB from last year that we saw torch PAM?
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I pick Lamar. Love my town but i have a brain ;D
Guest ndn09 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I will pick Houston Lamar because they have a great team.
82 5A State Champs Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I pick Lamar. Love my town but i have a brain ;DLOL......seriously though! Memorial doesn't appear to be nearly as strong, offensively, as they were last year. Their defense was weak and their offense kept them in games, and it doesn't sound like much has changed. Their defense is still soft and the offense seems to have trouble putting points on the board. Sorry, but I think Lamar takes this one!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 just hope it isnt a blowout
KFDM COOP Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 Lamar is good, can put up some points in a hurry.
Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I would say Lamar because if they have a good QB they can be really dangerous on the run.
raiderpride Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 im going with memorial in this one, they just gotta play tough and not let up, discipline will be a key, play smart football
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 man its hard keeping hope alive but they can win if the offense just score points
KFDM COOP Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 This one is a Thursday Night.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 PA loses by 30you wanna explain how they would get beat by 30?
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Yea, realy, there isnt' that much of a gap between these two teams.
Guest BigHam Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 LOL......seriously though! Memorial doesn't appear to be nearly as strong, offensively, as they were last year. Sorry, but I think Lamar takes this one!Someone told me PAM runs a nickel type D 3/3 with 5 DB's. Any truth to that?
Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Memorial is my team in this game.
James Mosley Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Lamar - close game but mistakes and playcalling from PAM kills their offensive chances in the red zone. Red zone play calling seems to be hurting them in many games. gotta go with Lamar but close....

Probably will be close like the Nimitz game but the boys in Black come up a wee bit short
