Former Orangefield QB in Critical condition

Two men from Orangefield are in the hospital after being burned near Victoria, Texas. B.J. Bishop and Gary Naquin, both in their twenties, were inside an empty railcar Thursday, spraying it with an adhesive that would protect the hydrochloric acid that it would soon carry. Authorities believe a work light may have ignited the chemical as the two struggled to get out. An employee said the two climbed out of the railcar still on fire. The fire marshal said Naquin suffered second and third degree burns to 95% of his body and is in critical condition while Bishop is in guarded condition.

Please keep both of these young men and their families in your prayers.

I grew up with Gary when we were younger. He comes from a great family. Anyone know when the Bishop man graduated and if he was involved in athletics?

Here is an link to an article on this subject.  Both seem to be somewhat improving.  Updates are being posted on the Orangefield messageboard.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I know the families of these two young men greatly appreciate it. Reading alot of the other threads this is a time were football is not very important.
