I do think HJ will have a good team this year, but I don’t think the give BU a run for their money this year.

Based on talent, no one should be able to give them a close game.  They have multiple high major kids on that team.  But when dealing with 15-18 yo kids, anything is possible.

Hightower HS is still receiving basketball transfers into the program, those transfers are making Yates transfer kids from last year look small and slow.   I can't wait to see BU vs Hightower Match Up.

Humble Summer Creek has the backcourt to give them fits.

My preseason rankings will be out soon and it will reflect this.

Summer creek will be fast and up tempo. BU will have some growing pains at the guard position, but will be solid from the SG, SF, and wing position

BU will not beat Hightower. Will be a good game, but Hightower has a general surrounded by solders who will follow him. Who's the leader at BU? You might say Arceneaux, but that's not a given at all. The undisputed leader of Hightower is Griggs and this team is better then last years

They still have to find the leader of that squad. Talent doesn't equate to leadership always, just production. Kasen was the alpha and leader of that squad. Who will take his place?

Me too but I suspect Hightower might go unchallenged period.  Griggs is different and then you add the transfers....

Arceneaux is a supremely talented player.  And seems to me like Yates has that leadership gene.  Porshia is a dog as well.   I think they are going to be very, very good.

Just found out theres gonna be some descent scrimmage games on Saturday at BU starting at 10 with Summer Creek, Manvel and PA....I know its Scrimmages so I dont expect to see much but would rather watch Basketball then Football right now.
