We have some exciting events in store for you this year. There will be something different, something new, and a whole lot of really fun hockey! Don’t waste any time and get your membership information sent in today!The something new…we will be conducting our hockey operations a little different this year. Once we get your membership packet in, you will be placed on one of our four teams. That’s right! We are going to have a true hockey season this time around. Your Executive Board has been hard at work and has secured enough ice time for us to put together not one, but two seasons for you this year. This first season will start on October 30th at Ford Park and will be ten weeks of competitive ice hockey. The four teams will play each other twice, have a single round of playoffs, and finally be topped off by a season ending championship game. These games will be approximately 1 ½ hours each consisting of three 14 minute periods. The games will be played each Tuesday for ten weeks with the first game starting at 7:00pm and the second game following directly after. Now for the something new…For our youth and those of you that aren’t ready for league play, or for whatever reason don’t feel comfortable playing on a team just yet, we are going to put you through ten weeks of a progressive ice hockey player development program. This league is designed to give the adults the skills, self confidence, and physical capabilities to move on to league play the following season. The youth player development league is designed to expose the kids to the next level of playing the game of ice hockey and with the future plans of expanding our youth program to allow them to play in a league of their own. This program begins October 29th, for adults and youth alike, and will be on Mondays from 6:00 to 7:00pm for the youth and 7:00 to 8:00pm for the adults.We look forward to seeing everyone on the ice this fall.
