Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Who is the best all round QB in Southeast Texas this year.
Bucster Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Tramain ThomasHe can run, pass, play defense and sell programs if the coaches would allow!
bleacher_bum Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Tramain ThomasHe can run, pass, play defense and sell programs if the coaches would allow! I think he sells programs and tickets (indirectly). ;D
Guest ndn09 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I think I will Terrmain Thomas he is so good on the run
Guest mr. untouchable Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 thomas...EC......can he be stopped
Raider88 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Good answer Jake94, I agree with you!! ;D
injuns Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Sampere looked great the one game, before he got hurt..
Roll_Left15 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 well ........we got a "hands down"....this topic is over!
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Bryce DeJohn hands down!"Hands down" must mean handing off to the RB's since he has only thrown 15 passes this season against suspect competition. Seems like they would let him air it out a little to get ready for district. Gonna be tougher to run on 22-4A defenses.
fbplayer999 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Bryce DeJohn hands down!thats a good one, tell me another joke
raidernation Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Bryce has not had to do much this season because of our strong running game. In fact, he has only played the first half and first series of the third quarter in each of our two games. He has played VERY good during that period (11/15 235 4 Td's 0 Int's) and started the year with 2500+ yards passing in his career. Our passing game will compliment our running game very well. By the end of district he will be one of the leaders in passing yards, completion percentage and TD/Int ratio. One area he can improve is with his running. He WILL NOT lead in rushing yards for QB's. He is not a dual threat QB. He wants to make a play with his arm not his legs.  Â
77 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Bryce DeJohn hands down! I dont think its your nomination so much as your presentation.

Respect will come with time.
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 These guys dont have a clue raidernationA clue about what? "Hands down" the best QB in the area?!?! Is that before or after the best two QB's(Green, Sampere) in the district went down with season ending injuries? I think Bryce DeJohn is a good QB and throws a good ball, but unless he has improved enormously from last season then he is not "hands down" the best in the area.
uknowit2 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Year in year out, when I look for the best player at each position, Lumberton is always the first place I check out. Why do you think they are undefeated in the playoffs?
jake94 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Good point, uknowit2. Good point. lol
Guest ballfan Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 lol im lovin the matt schaub nomination. lol
Guest Mr. Woodcock Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Thomas from EC is the best in the area at that position. No other QB comes close to his athletic ability, size, speed, etc. He has won key games for EC the last two years that they would have easily lost without him. It really does not matter what the big schools think , just keep an eye on where the recruiters are heading.
dayton Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Quite a few recruiters were in Dayton before Cody went down. Also, he was and will probably still be recruited as a QB by D1 schools. Thomas is a fantastic athlete and playmaker playing the QB position because he should have the ball in his hands the majority of the time. but will probably play DB in college.....right?
uknowit2 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 In my opinion, I think the position TT should play in college is 2 guard or small forward...
dayton Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 i'll bet you're not the only one who feels that way.
