adminbaberuth Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Was that a halftime score or final or what?Late 3rd I believe.
bronco1 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I was there up until about 6 minutes before the half. It was real ugly, lots of penalties on both teams. It looked like Cleveland has about 3 plays in their playbook.
77 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I guess the game was in Cleveland are we would be hearing it by now?
bh89-2 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Congrats. All the crap you guys have taken from those mid-county teams, you deserve it this year. GO GET THAT DISTRICT CROWN.
raidernaytion Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 We will!!!don't worry we will ;D
Guest PurplePride Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Congrats Lumberton! GO BRONCOS! ;D
dme1111 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 wow you beat a jv team...well practically a jv team anyways. I wouldn't grab that district crown just yet. I WILL have a lot of respect for this team if they start to beat worthy opponents...like anyone in the district. Time will tell the tale.
LB76 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Wow!! L-train is on a roll. Congratulations Lumberton, keep on winning.
wrcom Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Way to go Lumberton !!! Good victory for you guys. I sure hope that the teams you have played thus far have been a good choice for you guys to help you get prepared for your district. I know several other teams in the district have played some very tough non district schedules, nederland, PNG, ozen and dayton. If you want to make a statement in this district you will have to wait till you play some teams with some serious talent and tradition. Not bashing you guys, I'm glad you guys are winning so far this season, I hope you can keep it up in your district. I guess your big test will be Friday when you play Dayton. I'm glad to see any local area team win outside of the area ! It sends a statement to the rest of the state that the teams down here are a force to be reconed with. Good luck in District this season, go out and make something good happen for you guys !!!
vhs Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 We will!!!don't worry we will ;D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D You beat a monster like Cleveland and you got the district title in the bag. :D :D :D :D :D :D
BearWolf Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Game Notables and Highlights Lumberton had six touchdowns on only 11 rushes in the first half. Four touchdowns came on two-play drives.Lumberton finished its non-district schedule 3-0 and will be undefeated going into district
BearWolf Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Lumberton's defense held Clevland to 97 total yards of offense and 5 first downs for the game
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Great job, raiders. But playtime is over now, and Dayton is eyeballing you now. Probably rolling their eyes. No telling.
BearWolf Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 i bet they have the attention of the Dayton's coaching staff
BigWolf10 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Dayton will be krunk for this one, thats for sho. If by chance Lumberton is ready it will tell the tape.
Pimp Smack Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I was at the game and i saw more Dayton fans than Cleveland fans. The Dayton coaching staff wasa little rude though. I tried crackin a joke to one of em about how many scouts they brought and he gave me a "go to hell" look.
Guest kf89 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 the 3 teams lumberton has played are a combined 0-10,new caney-has lost to lum. 41-6,livingston-56-7 & huntsville-71-14. bridge city has lost to lum.-48-7,liberty-28-26, &kelly-49-6. cleveland has lost to lum.42-0,kirbyville-27-0, h-j-22-14,& diboll-52-6. i don't know if those 3 teams prepare lumberton for the level of competition that 22-4a will?
