No sir, they've had low numbers all year and (from what I understand) several of the freshmen parents pulled their kids earlier in the season. That, along with some injuries, and I guess they were just too thin.

Not surprised at this, the results of Week 10 rendered this a completely meaningless game in 12-2A-I

 everyone was kinda expecting this after Shelbyville beat San Augustine, this ends up being a game that is pointless for either team ,  so for WH it would have been another long drive to another slaughter house with a group of youngins that’s all been through the ringer all year , you only got two seniors on the team both are your rbs/mlbs So their basically both beat to a pulp and One of them been playing most the year with a serious knee injury. And as far as Shelbyville it’s a win either way but if they played they’d take a chance of getting someone hurt going into the playoffs. So with all that In consideration WH takes a knee 
  With that being said hats off to All the WH players that’s gutted it out every game  knowing what they were walking into and and having good sportsmanship and good attitudes week in and week out!  And good luck to Shelbyville hopefully they can go make some noise With Timpson and Joaquin!!

That’s what happens when the AD is a basketball coach!!!! Hard to get numbers when your head football coach isn’t the AD.

The correct response if to feel bad for the seniors.  There's a chance that of those seniors, there may have been at least one that cared enough to not want to end the career this way.  Hopefully they all did.  However, as mentioned above, when the Athletic Director is as basketball heavy as the one they have... it's not surprising to see the football program go by the wayside.  I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner in the year.  It's hard enough to take losses but to do it with minimal players makes it all the more difficult.

Hate to see it.  West Hardin... get a football coach back in there.

Would be a lot better than what’s in there for sure, tha dude doesn’t even go to the football games if he does it’s ever now and then at a home game and he rides around on his golf cart talking to people and doesn’t stay long

Perhaps he is.  If so, they need to let him run the athletic program.  I'm not saying that basketball can't have importance at a smaller school, but if the school has football.. then the program should be weighted toward football.

Ridiculous, they should play the game if they have 11. Hate it for those seniors and for the team going to the playoffs. Tough to take a week off right before the playoffs. Kills your rhythm.

Have you not seen wh’s numbers all year? They don’t technically have 11 fit players They’ve suited up with just 11-12 players multiple weeks and a few weeks had a whopping 15 kids playing state ranked teams at times with only 10 players on the field, half the team playing hurt every game and some of them are freshman kids that’s never played the game before. They are a Jv team with 2 seniors on it, YES There are only two seniors on the team both are rb/mlbs that take a beating every week and their main back that toats the ball 90% of the time been playing the whole year with a serious knee injury and he can barely practice or make it through a whole game. On top of all that shelbyville done stated the week prior if they beat SA they didn’t feel the need to even play the game So I would think people would know that WH and the coaches didn’t just quit
